Stop Payments

Should the time ever come when you need to utilize the preventative measure of stop payment on a particular item, all you need to do is contact our office at 585-343-5627 and speak with one of our Representatives who will immediately assist your financial needs. TVFCU is able to stop payment on the following:

• A draft written from your share account
  Example: stop only draft #2501

• A range of drafts
  Example: stop all drafts starting with draft #2501 through and including draft #2505

• An automatic electronic ACH debit, as long as the item has debited your share draft account in the past

• A payment authorized over the telephone or Internet, as long as the item has debited your share draft account in the past

All TVFCU stop payments are valid for a 6-month period. For each stop payment a $20.00 fee will be applied to your share draft account. A signature will be required by the member or joint owner of the account authorizing any stop payment.
