A Notary Public is someone legally empowered, appointed by New York State, to witness signatures and certify a document’s validity.

TVFCU has a notary service available at no charge to our members. There is a $2.00 service charge for non-members.

For Notary service please bring the following:

• The entire document you need notarized
• Two forms of identification which include:

your photograph, your signature, your current address, a physical description, and an issue and/or expiration date.

You are required to appear in person and sign the document in the presence of our notary public. A Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union notary can refuse to notarize a document if the identification is questionable.
